Hi there.
If you already know me, you know why I keep creating.
If you don’t, here’s the short version.
Who I am
Just one human trying not to break.
Where it started
1970, Jackson, Michigan.
Bare floors, second-hand clothes, a step-father's scrapyard job, that kept the family fed.
My mother balanced poverty with love; my dad hauled metal because there were no better options.
Work at twelve
Three summers with Wade Shows. Hard labour, cash for school clothes.
No romance, carnival nights, exhaustion, and a clear message: no one was coming to save me.
Escape route
High-school diploma at seventeen, straight into the U.S. Army.
Rules, structure, a pay check, and, for a moment, stability.
Top of class. Medals. Proof I could exceed expectations, if I didn’t crumble first.
The rest (compressed)
Europe. Marriage. A war no one wins.
Children I’d die for. Divorce that almost killed me anyway.
A body that never fit the paperwork, transition, surgery, cancer, recovery.
Distance from family, distance from who I used to be.
Multiple restarts. None of them easy, all of them necessary.
I’m still here.
I write music, philosophy, and code because creating is the only lever that moves my world.
Everything on this site is a survival tool turned outward, usable by anyone who needs it.
If that resonates, explore. If not, move on.
Either way, thanks for reading.
