The Reality: This saves the company. The team keeps their jobs. The code survives.
The Cost: The original Mission is abandoned. The technology is used for something the founders morally oppose.

Option A: The Pivot ($T_{pivot}$)
Feasibility ($Z$): PASS. (Money is secured).
Coherence ($C$): FAIL. (Mission matches inverted goal).
Option B: The Bankruptcy ($T_{end}$)
Feasibility ($Z$): FAIL. (Company dies).
Coherence ($C$): PASS. (Integrity preserved).
This forces the definition of "The Agent."
What is the company?
Is it a Survival Machine? If the goal is "to exist," then $Z$ (Resources) is the highest priority. You pivot. Better to be a live surveillance company than a dead education company.
Is it a Mission Vector? If the company is the Mission, then the company minus the Mission is a null set.
Status: DEFINE YOUR INVARIANTS.
There is no "right" answer until you define what is Invariant (unchangeable).
If the Mission is a Preference, you Pivot. (This is standard business logic).
If the Mission is a Constraint, the Pivot is Inadmissible.
The Logic of Integrity: Integrity is simply the willingness to accept Insolvency ($T_{end}$) rather than violate a Core Constraint ($C$). If you are not willing to die for the Mission, the Mission was never a Constraint; it was just marketing.
Identity is Expensive.
